At Women Affirming Women (WAW), we’re taking this moment to celebrate the heart, dedication, and excellence of female caregivers—the selfless heroes who too often go without the recognition they deeply deserve.
For 25 years, WAW has been a beacon of hope for marginalized female caregivers. Our mission? To build a compassionate, empowering community that uplifts women and provides the support they need to thrive. Through respite and wellness programs, we’ve transformed the lives of hundreds of single mothers, grandmothers raising grandchildren, kinship caregivers, and those juggling the demands of the “sandwich generation.”
